The End of an Era
One of my earlier posts said:
Hostel night is still far, yet i think i'll cry tonight.
Why do people in your life have to leave...people you have been with for four years, day and night, people who have been more than a family to you.
They have been there with me in my sorrows in my joys, all through the most formative years of my life.
I toast to you my junta...you are more to me than anybody in the world...i can guarantee you i'll be the one who cries the most...even more than you Dil!
Well I proved my self right! 16th of April was our hostel night. For the first time I realised how much our juniors loved us. The first guy who started crying was Country, that too bang in the middle of rain dance! The crying was so infectious, it caught Bhooshan and then Banner. Banner ran away to his room, he didnt want to get senti and all.
Bhooshan caught me unaware and before I know, Bhooshan and me are standing in the artificial rain, hugging each other and wailing like babies!
The sobbing prevailed throughout our 4th years and some 2nd and 3rd year guys.
Just so you know, it was a historical day for the insti as it was the first "dry" hostel night people saw, and all these babies had a natural high on rain and memories, instead of alcohol!
We released a video on the occasion, and Gapa you are great! Sexy mixing ra macha!
Well, I dont want to write anymore about the hostel night...I guess Banner will describe it better!
